Bronchitis

Description:

Inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes, which carry air to and from the lungs. Acute bronchitis is often caused by a viral respiratory infection and improves by itself.

Causes:

  • A bacterial infection.
  • Exposure to substances that irritate the lungs

Symptoms:

  • Cough can be chronic, dry, or with phlegm
  • Whole body fatigue or malaise
  • Running nose
  • Chest pressure
  • Headache
  • Shortness of breath
